Traveling Delivery Driver
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and safe Traveling Package Delivery Driver to join our team. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate delivery vehicles efficiently and safely. So if you are dependable, self-managing, safety-minded, organized, and willing to be on the road for a week or more at a time, we would love to discuss our opportunity with you. We are also looking for team leads and managers, so promotion opportunities are available if desired.
Duties & Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.

Load and unload products using equipment such as dollies, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations.

Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients upon delivery.

Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition before each shift.

Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining quality service.

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Must be able to pass a background check (No convictions within the last 10 years)

Must possess a valid license with no major violations.

Must be able to pass a drug test (Marijuana included)

Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
2 / Skills Required

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred, but not required.

Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and best practices is a plus.

Experience with route driving and navigating local areas effectively.

Ability to handle heavy lifting (up to 150 lbs) as part of the delivery process.

Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and courtesy during interactions with clients.
